Showing the progression of work over time not only show an artists progress in skill or comfort with materials. It’s a way of being able to look back and see an artists style changes over the years. As you move through the years it can be difficult to see the progress you make slowly. Keeping a record of it makes it easier to see the actual progression you make year to year.
